In Guatemala, 67% of children under the age of 6, are living in poverty, which is the cause of extreme malnutrition. Lack of resources and high unemployment rates has made it difficult to provide adequate nutrition in the homes of many families. In an effort to end hunger, Little Miss Goodie launched the GOODIE BAG initiative, which distributes signature pink bags filled with basic necessities such as cereal, condiments, flour, spagetti, oil, to name a few, during Holy Week.
In 2014, Little Miss Goodie adopted 3 classes at an elementary school in Santa Rosita, Guatemala feeding 100 families with our GOODie Bags
